Equity & U: Not Your Average Luncheon
Tuesday, November 12, 2019
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center
Equity & U: Not Your Average Luncheon will bring together local business owners, non-profit organizations, and many prominent community change-makers to learn more about the Urban League of Rochester’s 30+ programs, our vision for community inclusivity, and plans for creating a more equitable Rochester.
Our 54th annual luncheon will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Equity & U: Not Your Average Luncheon will empower members of the community to get involved in developing solutions to community inequities through open dialogue, connection, and resource sharing.
Join us to be a part of the conversation and the solution!
Forensic psychologist, trauma expert, and author, Dr. Debra Warner, will serve as the keynote speaker and lead interactive discussions that identify pathways towards equity. Discussion topics will include, but are not limited to, children’s behavioral health, workforce development, and affordable housing.
After the luncheon, attendees will be encouraged to stay involved by joining learning circles that will take a deeper look into themes and pathways identified during the luncheon — and see conversations put into action to create a more equitable Rochester. The Urban League of Rochester is empowering the community and changing lives!
